Our Core Functions

• Formulating and evaluating policies relating to Pensions Service.
• Process payments of pensions and gratuities under the Defined Benefits Scheme (old scheme.)
• Process payments of Actuarial Valuations pensions under the Contributory Pension Scheme (Bond Certificate).
• Process payments of Civil Servants pensions under the Contributory Pension Scheme
• Maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date personnel records for pensioners of the Civil Service.
• Co-ordinate Civil Service Pensions Scheme/ Funds
• Offer pension consultancy service to other government agencies/LGAs.
• Follow-up on reimbursement claims from Federal Government in conjunction with the Office of the Head of Service.
• Organise Verification for pensioners.
• Maintain relationship with Osun State Pensions Board
• Organising pre-retirement workshop for Retiring Civil Servants.
• Any other duty as may be assigned by the Governor.
